Wonderfully exuberant Chinese black lacquer desk profusely decorated with mother of pearl in a foliate and birds theme.
Chinese, Shanghai early 20th Century, in three parts.
Three drawers to the top, an opening door to the left hand pedestal, fixed panel to the right hand pedestal.
In overall wonderful condition, with the occasional knock and scratch and some paint losses to the edges and in opion commensurate with is age and use.
Dimension: 63” (160cm) wide x 35” (89cm) deep x 33.5 (84cm) high
