From a bygone age!
Rescued from an old shop in Wiltshire this delightful table top display counter for advertising the ice cream tubs of the day.
Late 19th or early 20th Century.
We think at one time it was the central part of a larger counter, hence the unpainted and later glazed ends.
It shows the many years of shop life…endlessly overpainted, scuffed, worn, some repairs but oozing character.
The original ice cream tubs are included with the cabinet as they came with it and it only right they should remain so…
A wonderfully reminder of when times were so much simpler!!
