Rare early 19th Century country corner Windsor chair.
A wonderfully impressive and rare thing indeed..
Bits of all sorts have gone into the making of this chair (which wasn’t unusual) oak, elm, a little ash and some fruitwood all go into the making of this splendid and generous beast!

Age related repairs (have you seen the old steel strap work repair?) sits sturdy and is in great order
