A fine, large example of a 19th century Doulton Lambeth stamped chimney pot.
Rescued from a garden where it has taken a few knocks!
This exceptionally tall buff terracotta chimney pot, with gothic style pattern throughout the body of the chimney, has some damage but remains stable and very useable in the garden
A clear Doulton Lambeth markers stamp at the base, these tall chimney pots were produced in two parts. The base and the slender centre section to one part and the top crown the second (the top simply sits on the bottom)
Despite the damage (as shown) a magnificent thing!
Dimension: 51” (130cm) tall x 22” (57cm) in diameter.
