Large scale gilded English over mantle mirror dated 19.04.1899
A wonderfully worn over mantle in used country house condition with three bevelled mirror plate panels and highly decorative pediment.
During its life its been “well polished” and a fair amount of the original gilding have been removed (worn off) but we think it adds to the pieces honesty.
The bevelled plated are in great order with the slightest of dusty foxing. Its structurally sound and in great overall order, with just one bit of loss on the bottom left hand corner (see images)
