Mid 20th Century Acrylic Bull Rush (Cattails) Sculpture Attributed to Hivo Van Teal
A striking example of mid-century modern decorative sculpture, this acrylic bull rush (cattails) piece captures organic form with the clarity and warmth unique to vintage acrylic. Attributed to Hivo Van Teal—an influential designer known for translating natural motifs into refined, sculptural objects—this work blends botanical elegance with the minimalist lines of the period.
The overall condition is very good with expected surface age, minor surface wear and we also suspect that a couple of the tops have been re-fixed at some point in its life. All consistent with vintage pieces adds authenticity and character
Clean, stable construction; ready to display..
