A beautiful example of a child’s corner chair with rose decoration (Rosemaling)

Norwegian, Mid 19th Century

This little discovery was a surprise! we have owned one before (not for long) but never one this early and never seen one with the natural use this one has - its wear and patina make this a very sought after little thing - its so delightful that we haven’t shown it to Florence our four year old or it would simply disappear into the house!
