Mid 19th century American “Boston” rocking chair
This fantastic period American rocker with its curvaceous seat and steam bent back spindles has the expected wear and patination commensurate with its use and age. The original ebonised finish has developed a beautiful crusty patina and the gilt decoration is faded to a lovely mellow yellow.
