Stunning and Rare American Victorian heavy cast iron Kramer Brothers Bench. Circa 1890
This bench and pattern were originally called the "Gothic Settee" and registered by the Carron Company in the mid 1800s and recast by many American foundries during the 19th century.
This Gothic pattern bench was also featured in the White House Rose Garden designed by Jackie Kennedy.
The bench itself has sat outside for many years and as such has taken on a lovely patina if various shades of country greens..overall in great order with no damage, very comfortable and very, very heavy! .
