Pair of 19th Century French Faience Swan Urns
Pair of 19th Century French Faience Swan Urns
Exceptional pair of large 19th century French faience urns from Desvres, by Fourmaintraux-Freres.
Beautiful hand-painted floral decoration and sculptural swan handles. Elegant form with nice proportions.
These beautiful urns have had a hard life and as such have undergone some restoration that we have reflected in their asking price.
(please study our images for condition)
The monumental size of these urns are indeed a rare find, especially with this degree of artistry. Mark on underside: F.F.
Dimensions: 19” (48cm) tall x 16” (41cm) wide
